Ministries
Our church has a variety of ministries designed to meet the needs of those of various ages, stages, and ethnic backgrounds. This includes both Sunday morning and midweek activities.
Sundays
On Sundays, we have Adult Bible Fellowship groups meeting during both services, classes for high school and CEGEP and university students during the first service, and a children's worship hour during the first service and Sunday School classes during the second part of the second service. Our Chinese Bible Study and Fellowship welcomes all immigrants, new believers, and seekers.
During the Week
Children and Youth
The following groups meet Friday nights at 7:30 PM:
- Awana Clubs - with groups for children from age 4 to grade 6.
- Teens Growing in Faith - a group for high school students.
- 17 - 21 - a Bible study group.
University and Twenty-Somethings
University and Twenty-Somethings has large group meetings once a month on Sundays, and small group meetings at the church on Thursdays from 7 - 9 pm.Adult Small Groups
We have about a half dozen small Bible study groups that meet in various locations of the city. Most of them meet on alternate Wednesday nights. These groups are open to adults of all ages.
Monthly Programs & Occasional Events
We have some groups that meet on a monthly basis. These include:
- The Donalda Missionary Fellowship - a group of women supporting missions
- The Men's Saturday Breakfast - meeting at a nearby restaurant.
- The Filipono Fellowship - families stay for lunch and fellowship at the church
- Chinese Fellowship - another lunch and fellowship group
Daughters of the King arranges events for women about once every 3 months. The objective of this ministry is to connect the women of our church, to plan occasional events where we can get together, to publicize the various women's activities within the church and to strengthen the bonds of fellowship and support that already exist.
We also have a Missions Conference every year, usually at the end of October.
Many years we have a special event for parents or couples.
